Antonio Gangemi is working as an Associate Professor for Surgery at Ross University School of Medicine and Co-Director of Surgical Exploration and Discovery (S.E.A.D.) Course at UIC (in collaboration with University of Toronto and University of Ottawa, Canada) at University of Illinois at Chicago – Chicago, USA. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests as an Associate Professor reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals. He is the Member of various associations: American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS), American College of Healthcare Executives, American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) , Fellow of American College of Surgeons (FACS), Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), American Medical Association etc. He has been awarded for reputed international awards, prizes, scholarships and honours. He has Editorial Board Member and Peer Reviewer in many reputed international journals, books and publishers.
